tourney info
Putting for Preemies is a family fun miniature golf tournament for teams of foursomes, kids, families, friend or co-workers to benefit the March of Dimes. We encourage you to get your employer to sponsor a team! If you can’t make the tournament and want to support the March of Dimes, come in to Putter’s Paradise and play a game anytime before 5pm on August 12th, half of your game price that day will go to the March of Dimes. Shot Gun Tee off is at 6pm sharp, with prizes and awards finished no later than 8:30pm.
This is a 18-hole miniature golf tournament with each player keeping their own individual score. Each individual foursomes scores are added up to create a final team score. The team with the lowest score will be the winner. There will be two divisions for teams to play in, amateur, (those who play mostly for fun but like a little competition) or professional, (those that have something to really prove, who play for real bragging rights and in essence are really good). Putter’s Paradise will be the host course for the 2009 event. Putter’s Paradise has 3-18 hole courses. Par on each course is 36. Those that can score in the 28-36 range are encouraged to enter the pro division, those who score higher than 36 are encouraged to enter the amateur division. Putter’s Paradise is located at 3201 Erie Blvd. East, behind McDonald’s Restaurant, near Bridge St. We encourage you to come out and practice prior to the tournament.
